Funeral Prices

Before we get started, it's important for families to have an idea of what their funeral expenses will be. Though cremation and funeral costs may vary, at Advanced Funeral and Cremation our cremation costs begin at $900. Our burial costs begin at $1,995. To help you understand all of the costs associated with a cremation service and make an informed decision, we’ve broken them down in our general price list. 

 

We also have a variety of payment options to ease the financial burden of honoring your loved one so that you can give them the service they deserve.  

 

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected. 

 

Professional Services of Funeral Director and Staff: $895 

Our fee for the services of Funeral Director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for services; arrangement conference; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation of obituary notices; staff assistance prior to, during and following; coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory and others. Also included in these charges are overhead expenses relative to providing goods and services such as insurance, maintenance and utilities expenses, secretarial and administrative cost, equipment and inventory cost. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.) 

 

Preparation: 

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

  • Embalming  $595 
  • Other preparation of remains (Dressing, Casketing, Cosmetics, Bathing & Disinfecting)  $200 
  • Other preparation with special care for autopsied remains  $300 
  • Refrigeration of non-embalmed remains (up to 7 days) It is our policy that after 6 hours non embalmed remains must be refrigerated $200 
  • Additional refrigeration of non-embalmed remains (per day after 7 days) $50 
  • Special care for restoration (where necessary) $200 
  • Hairdressing $125 

 

Use of Staff and Equipment for: 

*Suggested locations for viewing and funeral (possible facility charges are separate from our bill): church, home, country club, organization halls, convention centers ...Call us anytime and we will build a custom experience “your way”. 

  • Use of staff and equipment for viewing/visitation/gathering at other facility (up to two hours), (facility rental separate) $300 
  • Use of staff and equipment for viewing or gathering at other facility for each additional hour (facility rental is separate) $100 
  • Use of staff and equipment for supervision of funeral ceremony or memorial service at other facility (facility rental sperate) $200 
  • Supervision of graveside ceremony at cemetery $200 

 

Automotive Equipment: 

  • Funeral Hearse $625 
  • Funeral Vehicle (Dark GrayFord Transit) $200 
  • Transfer of deceased from place of death to our location (within 40-mile radius from our facility) $400 
  • Flower Van $400 
  • Service vehicle $200 
  • Additional transfer (i.e. autopsy, organ donation, donation to science …) $300 
  • Additional transfer fee for deceased weighing over 300 pounds $100 
  • Additional charges for any transportation outside 40-mile radius from our facility (per mile one way) $4 
  • Limousine ($75 per hour after the 1st 5 hours) $625 

 

Other Use of Staff and Facilities: 

  • Shelter of remains (per day after 7 days) $50 

 

Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home: $1,995 

Our charge includes: local transfer of the remains, professional services of the Funeral Director and staff, embalming, necessary authorizations, local transportation to common carrier and shipping container or combo unit. This charge does not include common carrier charges or use of facilities and staff for visitation or ceremonies.

 

Receiving Remains from another Funeral Home: $1,295

Our charge includes: professional services of the Funeral Director and staff, local transportation from airport and transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory. This charge does not include use of staff for visitation or ceremonies. 

 

Anatomical Donation: $1,495

Our charge includes: professional services of the Funeral Director and staff, local transfer of remains, transportation to Anatomical Gift Association. 

 

Death Certificate & Official Document Related Charges:

  • Death Certificates vary by city of death and will be calculated at time of contract $12 and up
  • Amendment of certified death certificate $45
  • Overnight mailing of death certificates $45
  • Mailing of death certificates (per address) $15
  • Administrative fee for shipping out of the country (consulate fees if any are extra as charged) $300

 

General Services:

  • Graveside above ground set and seal of vault, tent, chairs for immediate family (available at most cemeteries) $400
  • DNA Preservation $295
  • DNA Ancestral Heritage Report $125
  • DNA Genetic Predisposition Report $400
  • DNA Breast Cancer & Ovarian Cancer Predisposition Report  $1200
  • Preparation and cleanup of facility for private autopsy, tissue harvesting and other uses during normal business hours $395
  • Celebrant Ceremonies  $295
  • Insurance Assignment Processing $195
  • Coordination, cleaning and logistics for food and beverage $100

 

Pictorial & Stationery Products:

  • DVD tribute (up to 30 photographs) $295
  • Additional DVD $20
  • Each additional photograph for DVD tribute $4
  • Register or memory book $35
  • Laminated Prayer cards (per 100) $115


Miscellaneous:

  • Ziegler case $990
  • Combination shipping container $200
  • Air tray casket container  $200
  • Standard Flag Case $195
  • Laminated Prayer Cards with Picture (per 100) $125
